        InQinghai,thereare199,500peopleengagedintheLamiannoodlesindustry,whilemorethan35,000LanzhoubeefLamiannoodlesrestaurantshavebeensetupinGansuandmanyotherregionsnationwide,creatingjobsforover600,000peopleandgeneratinganannualturnoverofabout65billionyuan(about9.47billionU.S.dollars).

        YeXiaolong,a34-year-oldnativeofHaidong,openedaLamiannoodlesrestaurantinSihanoukville,Cambodia,in2019."AbowlofLamiannoodlesonlycosts5U.S.dollarshere.It"sverypopularamonglocalsbecauseofitsaffordablepriceandgoodtaste,"saidYe,whohasthreeCambodianemployees.
